Abstract Novel bulk single-component sulfide catalysts were prepared under the conditions of solid-phase dispersion МoS 2 molybdenite at various mechanical treatment times and amounts polar nonpolar liquid microadditives. The chemical degradation samples in air was found to lead formation surface sulfate anions that shield catalytically active Mo sites. Indirect correlations hydrodesulfurization ability MoS powders with concentration on their surface, aqueous pH powder suspensions, including dielectric permittivity organic dopants, can serve as reference indicators high catalytic activity model reaction dibenzothiophene hydrogenolysis. study identified most sample able run for an extended time during multiple cycles without losing its properties. Also, paper discusses conversion routes, product composition, probable structure sites catalysts, desulfurization degree diesel fuel components.
